‘White Sea Takes Over’ and ‘Arrested in Black’, 2020

The marks that make the drawings take their place as fluid forms, existing between abstraction and representation. They make an attempt to juxtapose the stillness of the now with the immediacy of the present whilst reflecting on the persistent feeling of being incapacitated by a stronger force.
